Invicta Womens Sea Spider Quartz Date & Day Polyurethane Bracelet Watch

The round silver-tone 316L stainless steel case features a saw toothed edge fixed bezel with raised Arabic numerals.

The round vibrant light blue sunray dial displays silver-tone Arabic numerals at all even hour positions. Silver-tone index markers appear at all odd positions except 3:00 and 9:00. Silver-tone hour, minute and subdial hands show luminous Tritnite and the seconds hand displays in solid silver-tone. "Invicta" and the logo show below 12:00, a date subdial appears at 3:00 and a day subdial displays at 9:00. This design gives this Sea Spider a bold symmetrical look. The function is made possible by a Swiss Parts ISA 9231/1890 Quartz movement.

Maintaining Water Resistance:
Every year or so, a timepiece's water resistance needs to be checked to ensure it is performing to its full potential. Check the packings around the crown and back of the case. These are intended to seal the watch from water and dust. Over time, they may lose their elasticity and need to be replaced. Cracks in the crystal can also result in losing water resistance. A professional inspection can determine if any scratches or cracks are letting in any moisture.

The watches I wanted were on sale at amazon and I contacted Dream to see if they could beat the price. They did so by a considerable amount, and allowed me to take advantage of their overnight shipping promotion. Good, honest, and non-automated or outsourced e-mail communication followed by prompt shipping. At 5:30pm, having received the UPS tracking info, I realized I had messed up my zip code -- I switched two numbers. I called Dream and they tracked down the truck taking the day's packages to the shipping center and applied a new label. Watches arrived by 10am the next day, new in box with all documentation, all stickers (i.e. protective ones on the back and face) in place, obviously factory-fresh. So not only was the price here considerably less than amazon, I received personalized customer service to resolve the zip code error I made -- something that Amazon would not be able to do because of its huge size and the way it encourages the use of standardized electronic forms to resolve all customer service issues. In other words, this is a reliable business and a good site -- as well as a business with heart. -- Michael
