From Sthrling Originals Safari Series comes a timepiece that is a boon on any journey for any purpose, the Expedition. Boasting an audacious persona in its doughty stainless steel case, the Expedition delivers a fearless attitude with the mettle to back it up!

Starting with the machine that powers this lion, the Expedition possesses the latest innovation from Citizens arsenal of world-class quartz chronograph movements, the OS-25. Starring a twentieth-of-a-second indication while featuring a sixty-minute counter, small seconds, twenty-four hour sub-dial and a quick-set date complication, the stalwart OS-25 has burst into the arena of finer timepieces on the worldwide watch scene! Sthrling Originals designers have engineered a spectacular case befitting such a movement. Blanked from solid 316L surgical-grade stainless steel, the fancy-shaped case features scissor-cut faceting and is treated to a high-polish finish on its topside and a brushed satin finish on its sides. The beveled bezel is a distinctly separate component affixed to the case and has been layered with color-coordinated physical vapor deposition. And for extra detail in design six Sthrling signature S screw-heads adorn the bezel in alignment with every tenth minute marker on the adjacent flange allowing for unexpected sensibility.Such an impressive case and movement, warrants a brilliant dial to match. And the Expedition does not disappoint. The five-piece dial is anchored by the basket-weave embossed main dial providing texture and depth as a backdrop to the distinguished face. With an applied sub-dial for the 24-hour indicator at the three oclock position, and a color-coordinated tinted see-through dial-plate for the chronograph-function sub-dials and date aperture, the primary charm of the dial is the kidney-shaped face-plate stretching from the five oclock position to the ten oclock position. The faceplate is secured to the main dial with two micro-screws on top of the tinted dial-plate. The manner in which the date wheel is revealed is uniquely clever with the opening in the faceplate larger than the aperture in the see-through tinted dial-plate creating a frame for the date directly in the center! Watch has luminous hour and minute hands and a luminous Arabic twelve with luminous markings at all other positions.

The Expedition is mounted on a silky smooth and soft, yet heavy-duty rubber strap. The custom tapered strap is made of the highest grade silicon and displays a diamond pattern complementing the main dial; and is 24-millimeters wide at the sloped lugs of the case tapering down to 22 millimeters wide at the stainless steel tang buckle.
