From Stührling’s Lifestyle Collection the new Phoenix rises up to the pinnacle of its class! Dedicated to the mythical bird which symbolizes immortality the Phoenix round case has been blanked from solid bar of 316L surgical-grade stainless steel with highly polished beveled bezel that is 44mm wide at its girdle but tapers gracefully to 30mm against your wrist for a level of comfort not usually associated with wristwatches of such size. This rare bird is brandishing the extraordinary Swiss quartz chronograph movement, the Ronda Startech 5040-D! Featuring an add-and-split function chronograph with tenths-of-a-second, a ten-hour counter, small seconds and a quick-set date complication, this world class movement is made with all metal parts while hosting six jewels.
Of course displaying such a sophisticated mechanism in a refined manner calls for intricate details; and the Phoenix has details in the details on its face! The expression begins with a three-piece dial highlighted by a delicate chrono-system skeletonized faceplate that has been affixed to the main dial (on the bottom and left-hand side) with micro-screws. Balancing the look and providing another layer of depth is an arc-plate (which declares “60 second”) on the small seconds sub-dial on the right-hand side at the two o’clock position. The minute counter sub-dial at the ten o’clock position and the tenths-of-a-second and ten-hour sub-dial at the six o’clock position are both marked by their outer rings which have been hydraulically embossed with a concentric circle design. The small seconds sub-dial exhibits the same record finish in its entirety. The hour and minute hands are treated with orange luminescence with orange seconds and subdial hands. The black PVD layered screwed-in case-back has been decorated magnificently while proudly boasting the Phoenix moniker and signature Stührling logo.
Black Silicon Rubber strap is custom designed and molded and exhibits a quadruple groove design that runs the length of the strap. The tang buckle is made from solid stainless steel and displays the Stührling signature logo.
