Invicta Reserve Collection Swiss Made Professional Chronograph Akula Russian Diver Mens Specialty Watch

Named after the treacherous Soviet Union attack submarine, Invicta's Akula offers strength and durability. Designed to immerse your wrist in bold style. Stainless steel forms the substantial case engraved with the Invicta Reserve logo on the crown.

Set beneath the anti-reflective crystal surface is a black dial accentuated respectively with silver-tone luminous stick markers at all hour positions. Complication characteristics include a date window near 4:00 and sub-dials near 2:00, 6:00 and 10:00. Providing a name to a face is the "Invicta Reserve" name below 12:00 with "Swiss Made" scribed at 6:00. Revolving around the dial are Tritnite luminous hour, minute, chronograph and sub-dial hands. Circling the outer-dial and the 6:00 sub-dial is a silver-tone ring.

Comfortably, yet resiliently securing this watch around your wrist is a rubber strap. Secured with a push button dual deployant clasp, the strap is molded with "Invicta" on the back strap side.

The watches I wanted were on sale at amazon and I contacted Dream to see if they could beat the price. They did so by a considerable amount, and allowed me to take advantage of their overnight shipping promotion. Good, honest, and non-automated or outsourced e-mail communication followed by prompt shipping. At 5:30pm, having received the UPS tracking info, I realized I had messed up my zip code -- I switched two numbers. I called Dream and they tracked down the truck taking the day's packages to the shipping center and applied a new label. Watches arrived by 10am the next day, new in box with all documentation, all stickers (i.e. protective ones on the back and face) in place, obviously factory-fresh. So not only was the price here considerably less than amazon, I received personalized customer service to resolve the zip code error I made -- something that Amazon would not be able to do because of its huge size and the way it encourages the use of standardized electronic forms to resolve all customer service issues. In other words, this is a reliable business and a good site -- as well as a business with heart. -- Michael
