Sturling Winchester

I wanted a skeleton and had seen some others that I felt were better than this one. I had made up my mind when it came in I was sending it back. When I saw the workmanship and the detail of this watch I immediately placed it in a place of distinction in my collection. I am now buying another skeleton from here and will probably get this winchester in silver tone. I love this watch. I wish the strap was longer so I would have more room to put the nice alligator band through the second loop though.

Pictures Don't Do it Justice...

I just received my Stuhrling Targa today… and I will be sending it back today. Not because there was anything wrong with the watch, per se. To the contrary, it appears to be very well assembled, and has a top-notch Swiss chronograph movement in it. So, what's not to like? I knew it was going to be B-I-G, and it is (imagine strapping a wall clock to your wrist with a belt, and you've got the basic idea...). I love that! The case and crown approach 52mm by my measurement. I'm a substantial guy, and I definitely have big enough wrists to pull it off – so this was not a problem (I could see it being an issue for all but the biggest of guys, however). My gripe is less with the watch itself, and more with the pictures (which enticed me to buy the watch). The watch and the pictures I saw (on this website and others) don’t look anything like each other. That's why I'm returning my watch. In the photos, the watch appears to have a white/off-white dial (which I like). Actually, the dial is not painted: it's a brushed silver/steel. I suppose that if it were photographed in "white" (perhaps fluorescent) light, it could appear to be white in a picture. Also, the pictures seem to show that the watch band has a brushed or matte finish to it (which I like). Actually, the WHOLE watch (case + band) is polished to a mirror finish (which I don't like one bit). It's hard to buy things online, based only upon the pictures, so hopefully this review will be helpful to others. Again, quality, fit, finish, etc... all appeared to be very good, but it looks too much like a chrome rim to me.

I have this watch but I did not get it from Yourdreamizhere but from QVC because I don't know about Yourdreamizhere at that time. This is truly a good-looking watch. The quality is excellent and for anyone who is considering buying it, do so and you will not be sorry. I have ordered a watch very recently and Yourdreamizhere's service is very good. The watch arrived promptly as promised. This company's inventory is also large and they have a good selection of watches. For someone who is into watches, this is good news. I'm looking at some other models now for myself and maybe for some friends for Christmas.

I have received so many compliments on my ring set. Everyone from the CAO to the girl at the checkout counter has noticed my ring.
